SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services¹ is an on-board advanced tech system connecting your Subaru to the outside world, bringing added safety and convenience to your driving experience every day. This in-vehicle wireless network links to the MySubaru App* through your smartphone. You keep informed on your vehicle status and are able to share that information with SUBARU STARLINK ^® Connected Services representatives, offering peace of mind like never before that you have backup.

*The MySubaru App is utilized with SUBARU STARLINK Connected Services for the following Subaru models: Ascent, Outback, Forester, Crosstrek, Impreza, Legacy, BRZ and WRX. (Subaru Soltera uses the Solterra ConnectTM App.)

On your smartphone, using SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services and the MySubaru App, you can remotely start your engine and set the cabin environment to a comfortable temperature, lock or unlock the doors, and use vehicle location services. You can also check vehicle health, fuel level and odometer reading, and see when maintenance is suggested.
When loaning out your Subaru to another driver, you can receive alerts if your car leaves a pre-designated geo-area, exceeds speed limits or is out past a pre-set curfew.

Safety is paramount to SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services. The system knows if an airbag deploys and an Automatic Collision Notification alert is sent through SUBARU STARLINK ® Connected Services and a representative will communicate through vehicle speakers with you and can then send assistance if needed. There is also a red emergency SOS button located in the overhead console for you to connect with a SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services Representative which sends out your exact location to emergency services personnel.

To help safeguard against theft, your SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services includes Vehicle Security Alarm Notification and Stolen Vehicle Recovery with Immobilizer. If the alarm fails to prevent a theft, the vehicle recovery systems utilize GPS tracking while your SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services Representative works directly with local police to recover your vehicle as quickly as possible.

SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services Concierge works like a virtual personal assistant to offer you real-time information while you’re in your Subaru. Your SUBARU STARLINK^® Connected Services Representative is available to help you locate nearby points of interest, send directions to your Subaru’s navigation system or even schedule your next service appointment with your authorized Subaru dealership service center. All these services are available to you at the touch of a button.
